Due to the challenging weather forecast and the prediction of wind and rain, we have consulted with our water safety team and have cancelled the kayak stage.

This will not affect the direction of your route in any way, you will run past the kayak stage but skip this part of the event.

It’s looking like we’re in for a wet and windy weekend. The event is still going ahead, but please take care on the downhill sections of the bike routes, wet and slippery roads, and mountain run sections.

Follow the event safety procedures and directions of marshalls at all times.

Ensure you have your mandatory kit with you and dress appropriately.

Any further updates will be distributed via email, social media or at the pre-event safety briefings.
